How difficult is it to get into Emory?
Of the 33,255 applications for the Class of 2027, Emory College admitted 3,543 (rendering an admissions rate of 11%), while Oxford college accepted 3,662 out of 20,892 applicants (rendering an admissions rate of 17%). The middle 50% GPA for admitted students to Emory College was 3.89 /4.00 ; SAT Reading and Writing was 720-770; SAT Math was 750-790; and ACT was 33-35. For Oxford College, middle 50% GPA was 3.88, while standardized testing score ranges were the same.
What is the campus like at Emory?
Emory University comprises two locations—Emory College and Oxford College. Located in the scenic and historic Druid Hills neighborhood in Atlanta, Emory College houses the seven graduate and professional schools of Emory University. Meanwhile, Oxford College is in the small town of Oxford, Georgia, the original site of the university at its founding. The quaint, more intimate Oxford campus is home to first and second year students before they move on to the Atlanta campus for the latter part of their Emory journey. At this stage, students can choose to enter Emory College or apply to Goizueta Business School or the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing.

Students can apply to both Emory College and Oxford College with one application and accompanying set of supporting documents. What are Emory’s core curriculum and programs?
Emory University’s core curriculum, known as the General Education Requirements (GERs), ensures that students receive a broad and well-rounded education across various disciplines.
