Ibrahim
DIRECTOR OF MENTORING
I’ve mentored students over the course of their entire high school careers, and I’ve mentored students who found us senior year with a few months left. What doesn’t change is the goal: not just getting them in, but making sure they’re ready for what comes after.
Scope of Support
From building your college list and round strategy to opening that first decision letter, your mentor will hand the baton to Command’s team of experts, who keep every deadline on track and use their years of experience to help you tell your story to the right schools, in the right way.
The Command Admissions Advisory Board
By bringing together Ivy League mentors and our Admissions Advisory Board, Command Education is uniquely equipped with firsthand experience from both sides of the admissions desk: we know exactly what it takes to authentically develop a compelling applicant and what admissions officers look for as they evaluate them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it too late to start college counseling for senior year?
Command Education’s college consulting services work with students throughout senior year, including those who come to us in the fall. Earlier engagement allows more time to build, but our application-season partnership is built specifically for this exact moment.
How is this different from my school counselor?
School counselors typically manage a large caseload with limited one-on-one time. Command Education pairs each student with a dedicated, full-time admissions consultant plus a full team of specialists, with unlimited, individually tailored access precisely when it matters most.
Who actually works with my student on their college applications?
Your student’s near-peer mentor leads the relationship and stays with them through application submission. They know the student the best and they guide the work and connect them to the right expert at the right moment. As application season begins, students also work with a dedicated Application Specialist. This is a second near-peer with a different specialty: admissions expertise, school-specific nuance, hook and narrative strategy, brainstorming, and Common App execution. Behind both stands our Admissions Advisory Team of former admissions officers, so every application passes through multiple rounds of expert review.
Do you write the essays?
No, our results come from diligent preparation and true alignment with who a student authentically is, not from completing the essay for students. Our team guides, edits, and refines, but the words and ideas are always the student’s own. This approach ensures that students feel proud of the work they have accomplished and develop meaningful skills through the process.
How does unlimited support work during application season?
There’s no clock running and no hourly billing. Whether it’s a late-night message before a deadline or hours of interview coaching, support is available without a resource cap.
Do you help with college admissions interviews?
Yes, interview preparation and demonstrated interest are a core part of every application-season engagement.
What does a shorter engagement cost?
A family’s investment varies based on their student’s starting point and the length of their journey ahead. Multi-year engagements beginning in middle or early high school are typically high five-figures annually, and include comprehensive ACT/SAT test prep alongside the ongoing mentorship. Shorter, application-stage engagements typically run in the mid-to-high five figures total, with the same team and the same standard of support, focused on a shorter runway.
Regardless of program length, the investment you agree to at the outset is the investment you’ll make. There are no additional invoices for extra hours, additional essay rounds, test prep, or last-minute interview prep. For most families, this is one of the most significant investments they will make in their child’s future: a partnership that prepares their student not only to gain admission to their dream school, but to thrive in the next phase of their life. Our proven track record of success reflects the value of that investment, which will continue to pay dividends throughout a student’s life.
